Sun and Moon positions use low-precision analytic series; target coordinates are precessed from J2000 with a first-order formula (less reliable within a few degrees of the pole). Rise/set uses −0.833° for the Sun and the topocentric Moon; the target uses 0°. Refraction beyond that and local horizon obstructions are not modelled. Times are on a 5-minute grid with linear interpolation.
